Q. I have been taking Betagen HP for just over a month now and have not noticed any marked increase in my growth rate. How long do you have to be taking it before you see/feel results?

A. I used Betagen for a while, and saw NO results - I think it's because the actual amounts of the "active" ingredients is so diluted... So, I switched to taking the "componants" of Betagen individually... I take Creatine, HMB, L-Glutamine and Vanadyl Sulfate instead of taking Betagen...

To be more specific, I take HMB and Vanadyl Sulfate 3 times a day with meals and supplement those meals with a Whey Protein drink (because the purpose of HMB and V.S. is to minimize protein breakdown before it can get to the muscles). I take Creatine right after I work out (to aid in muscular recovery and to rehydrate them), and I take L-Glutamine once during the day with one of my meals (middle of the day) and once before I go to bed (to help minimize protein breakdown).

The important thing to remember about protein is that it's the major building block of your muscle... right after a workout your muscles are craving protein to replenish themselves and to grow and heal...., and when you are sleeping is when your hormone production is at its peak (which is when your body is most able to channel protein into the muscles)...
